Preparation of ingredients
· Rinse the chicken and gumbo before cooking.
· Cut gumbos into small pieces.
· Cut mushrooms into small pieces.
· Carrots, onion are chopped.
· Rinse rice grain.

Garlic powder | 1 to 2 tablespoons |
Onion | 2 medium |
Salt | ½ tablespoon |
Hot pepper sauce | 1 tablespoon |
Potato | 3 to 4 pieces |
Carrot | 2 medium size |
Mushroom | 3 cups |
Chicken | 250-300 gm |
Gumbo | 100 g |
Rice grain | ¼ cup |
Rotini pasta | 2 cups |
Preparation procedure
· Take 3 cups of water in a pot and add garlic powder and hot pepper sauce.
· Chopped carrots and mushrooms are added.
· Cook them for minimum 5 to 7 minutes.
· Then pieces of gumbo are added.
· Rice grains and chicken pieces are added in the cooking pot.
· Cook for 2.5 hours in low heat.
· Add the pasta and cook for another 10 minutes.
· Salt and pepper are added in proper proportion.
· The soup is prepared and is poured in a bowl to serve.

· Bacon can also be used in this soup.
· Chicken broth may be used instead of water.
