Chicken Lemon Rice Soup Recipe


Chicken lemon rice soup is tasty combination due to its tangy taste. It is made of chicken pieces with rice in the soupy water with flavor of lemon. So, here a useful recipe of chicken lemon rice soup will be shared with all of you.

Preparation of the ingredients

·         Chicken is cut into pieces.

·         Rinse required amount of rice.

·         Onion and garlic are chopped.

·         Prepare lemon juice.

·         celery, parsley, carrots are chopped.

·         spring onion are cut into small pieces.


Chicken250-300 gm
Rice grain1 cup
Cream½ cup
SaltTo taste
PepperTo taste
garlic1 tbsp
Parsley1 cup
Olive Oil5 to 6 spoons
Lemon1 to 2 pieces

Preparation procedure

·         The chicken pieces are put into a pot and add sufficient water.

·         Boil in high flame for 10 minutes.

·         The boiled chicken are transfered into a plate and the chicken stock in kept another large bowl.

·         The pieces of chicken are shredded.

·         Then some oil is added in a cooking pot and heated.

·         Chopped onions, carrots, celery are added in the hot oil and stir.

·        Then add chopped garlic and 1 cup chopped parsley and cook well.

·         Add the boiled chicken pieces in the cooking pot.

·         1 cup of rice grain is then added.

·         Add sufficient amount of  chicken stock to the cooking pot to boil the rice grain.

·         Cook them until all the ingredients are cooked.

·         Add half tablespoon of salt and half tablespoon of peeper.

·         Add 1 cup of lemon juice into the soup.

·         The soup is ready and add some cream to garnish before serving.

Variation on the recipe

·         To make this soup heavy, more cream can be added.

·         Noodles or pasta also can be used to make variation.

·         Rinse the ingredients with cold water.

·         Uncooked rice should be used.

·         Stir the ingredients to make a well mix.
